Tao te Ching Chapter 4 Mandala, “Emptiness” High Top Shoes
This mandala is part a series I’m doing in which I meditate on a chapter of the Tao te Ching and then create a mandala as a reflection of it. This mandala is entitled, “Emptiness” in reflection of Chapter 4. As I worked on this particular piece, several themes came up for me: infinity, change, silence and emptiness. Because of the concept of infinity and emptiness, the resulting mandala appears as if it’s starting into a single point – an infinite distance away.
